Board of Trustees of AIOA<\/strong><\/h6>\n

The Board of Trustees, based on the recommendation of the Director General and the University President, is appointed by the Founder of the Academy for a term of two years. This term may be extended at the discretion of the Founder.<\/p>\n

Composition of the Board of Trustees:<\/strong><\/h6>\n

The Board of Trustees is composed of the following legal and natural personalities, appointed by the Founder:<\/p>\n

The General President of the Academy;<\/p>\n

The University President.<\/p>\n

Ten individuals selected from among the elites and intellectuals of Afghanistan and abroad, who are familiar with international affairs as well as academic, research, and cultural matters.<\/p>\n

Duties of the Board of Trustees<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Duties of the Board of Trustees<\/p>\n

Oversight of the annual performance in educational, research, cultural, administrative, financial, and accounting matters of the Academy.<\/p>\n

Approval of the internal regulations of the Board of Trustees, as well as the necessary rules, bylaws, and procedures.<\/p>\n

Providing necessary advice and recommendations to the Director General of the Academy.<\/p>\n

3. Oversight of the administrative performance of the University Presidency.<\/p>\n

Providing necessary consultations to the General President of the Academy.<\/p>\n

The Board of Trustees shall hold meetings at least once every six months.<\/p>\n

Note: Board meetings shall be considered valid with the presence of at least two-thirds of the members, and resolutions shall be adopted by a majority vote of at least half plus one of the members present at the official meeting.<\/p>\n
