1. Introduction to the Vice President for Public Relations and International Affairs::
The Vice President for Public Relations and International Affairs of the "Afghanistan International Online Academy" (AIOAC) is responsible for planning activities, monitoring international developments and actions, and aligning the Academy's actions in various sectors—from attracting support from international organizations to expanding scientific-international collaborations, enhancing the institution's international standing, and establishing the Academy's international brand.
In the area of policy-making, the Strategic Council for International Affairs of the Afghanistan International Online Academy is responsible for determining the Academy's general policies in international affairs.
2. Appointment::
The Vice President for Public Relations and International Affairs is selected for a term of one year by the Board of Founders based on the recommendation of the AIOAC's Director-General. This term is renewable at the discretion of the Board of Founders.
3. Duties and Responsibilities of the Vice President for Public Relations and International Affairs of AIOAC::
1. Communicating all approvals, regulations, and bylaws issued by the AIOAC Director-General to the relevant units, and following up on and overseeing their proper implementation.
2. Developing bylaws, guidelines, and agendas related to the duties of the Vice President for submission to the appropriate authorities for approval.
3. Providing necessary explanatory reports to the AIOAC Director-General regarding the duties related to the supervised units.
4. Recommending qualified individuals for management positions within the Vice President's area to the AIOAC Director-General.
5. Overseeing subordinate units to ensure the proper performance of their duties.
6. Planning and organizing the Vice President's activities in accordance with the strategic priorities of AIOAC.
7. Cooperating with other AIOAC departments for the proper implementation of programs.
8. Developing AIOAC's collaborations inside and outside the country in the areas of attracting financial, educational, research, and cultural exchange support.
9. Organizing conferences, workshops, and educational and research gatherings in cooperation with the Vice President for Cultural, Research, and Scientific Affairs of the Afghanistan International Online University (AIOU).
10. Striving to identify figures and academic centers inside and outside the country.
11. Announcing courses, exhibitions, and all scientific and international gatherings, and studying and reviewing relevant foreign publications.
12. Providing the necessary facilities for the participation of selected AIOAC representatives in scientific and international forums and gatherings, and AIOAC membership in relevant forums.
13. Preparing the groundwork for sending faculty members abroad to use scholarships or study or participate in conferences.
14. Attracting financial support from international organizations to enhance AIOAC's programs.
Missions of the Strategic Council for International Affairs:
1. Policy-making and development of the international relations strategy of the "Afghanistan International Online Academy (AIOAC)" and the development of scientific and international collaborations.
2. Policy-making and development of a strategy for the quantitative and qualitative development of AIOAC's international affairs.
3. Policy-making and development of a strategy to enhance AIOAC's international standing.
4. Developing programs to coordinate AIOAC's components in international affairs.
5. Meetings of this Council are held twice a year.
The members of this council (the Director-General of AIOAC, the University President, the Vice President for Public Relations and International Affairs, the Director-General of Planning, and 4 individuals recommended by the Vice President for Public Relations and International Affairs and approved by the Director-General of the Academy) are selected.
