Board of Trustees of Afghanistan International Online Academy (AIOAC)
The Board of Trustees is elected by the Board of Founders for a two-year term based on the recommendation of the General President and the University President. This term may be extended at the discretion of the Board of Founders.
Composition of the Board of Trustees:
The Board of Trustees consists of the following legal and natural persons, appointed by the Board of Founders:
1. The General President of the Academy;
2. The University President.
3. Five individuals from among the elites and intellectuals of Afghanistan and abroad who are knowledgeable about international issues and matters related to education, research, and academia
Responsibilities of the Board of Trustees:
The Board of Trustees has the following responsibilities:
1. Oversight of the annual performance in educational, research, cultural, administrative, financial, and accounting matters of the Academy.
2. Approval of internal regulations of the Board of Trustees, as well as necessary rules, bylaws, and guidelines.
3. Supervision of the administrative functions of the General Presidency of the Academy.
4. Supervision of the administrative functions of the University Presidency.
5. Providing necessary consultations to the General President of the Academy.
6. Meetings of the Board of Trustees are held at least once every six months.
Note: Meetings of the Board of Trustees are considered official with the attendance of at least two-thirds of its members, and resolutions are valid if approved by a majority vote of at least half plus one of the members present at the official meeting.

Professor Dr. Farid Younes Author and researcher in Afghan and Middle Eastern cultural studies, professor at the International University of California, USA, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
