The Research Institute of the Afghan International Online University (AIOU) was established with the aim of addressing part of the country’s research and scholarly needs across various fields. This Research Institute obtained initial approval pursuant to Resolution No. 2 of the Board of Trustees of the Afghan International Online Academy, dated 11/09/1403, and in accordance with the Academy’s Statutes approved on 12/04/1403. This approval represents a significant step toward the development and expansion of the scientific and research activities of AIOU, and provides a solid foundation for the implementation of broader research projects as well as collaboration with other academic and research institutions at both national and international levels.

Academic and Literary Profile of Ismail Yord Shahian::

smail Yord Shahian, a contemporary poet, writer, and researcher, holds a master’s degree in Culture and Civilization and a PhD in Psychology. He has published 28 works, including books, poetry collections, novels, and short stories, as well as 47 scholarly articles. His works are often symbolic and allegorical, focusing on the relationships between humans and objects, myths, and profound life concepts. Among his notable works are the poetry collections “Blue Song” and “Purple Uriah”, as well as narrative works such as “Tell Me About the Daffodils” and “Co-Burial”. These stories, characterized by surreal and symbolic atmospheres, explore themes such as love, death, life, and truth, consistently inviting readers to reflection and contemplation.
